May is five months and some change, so she’s still a little ways from being able to crawl, but gosh darn it, she’s trying as hard as she can. She moves her arms and legs together at the same time, but of course it’s not in a crawling movement. All of this effort is rewarded though. May is able to move around in complete circles AND on occasion, she’s able to move herself forward due to sheer propulsion. If you were to see a time-lapse video of her movements, it looks time ticking down on a clock. It is a very quick, jerky and uncoordinated movement of time, but that’s okay. May has no concept of real time. Just the movement-simulated kind.
They say “time flies when you’re having fun,” and this is no exception. May seems to be very entertained by her new found abilities to travel. While she’s perfecting the “time clock,” she’s also working on a new move I like to call the “rotisserie.” More on that later.
